{Feeling Better and the Dangers of Arts and Crafts Time}

Ahh, finally they're feeling better! And I am too after yesterday's laundry fiasco.  On top of the crazy laundry story yesterday, I RAN OVER the damn laundry card. YUP with the VAN.  And it's ruined and now when you put it in the washer or dryer, the LCD just says BAD.  I can't decide if that's a comment on the card's usefulness or mine. LOL.  Anyway, just a few runny noses today and mommy has a massive cleaning job ahead of her, that's why I'm blogging instead :)

So, I've resigned myself to Karsten no longer taking naps.  While *I* could use the down time, he no longer really needs it and it's interfering with bed time when I do give him one. *sigh* So today instead of naptime I'm giving him quiet time where he can play in his room and watch cars while I put Jo to sleep and have a little downtime. It seems to be working out really well, he's not screaming, I'm relaxing a little.  Which is good for us both.

So on to the DANGERS of Arts and Crafts time. No I'm not talking about unfortunate scissor accidents or gluing fingers together..I'm talking about the infamous BLUE MOUTHED BABY! Mwuah ahhahahahaha...ok yeah I'm a dork, but check this out..

Ok, yeah it's cute, but it's NOT cute when he has a habit of doing THIS

and you don't know what the source of the blueness is!!!!!!

So a frantic mommy runs around frantically looking for the toilet bowl cleaner and I find the source of the blue...

PHEW.........Oh my, I was frantic!!  No more colored popsicle sticks for this household!

Anyway...this is what we were making! Karsten colored one side and we glued it to a computer printout and a popsicle stick and voila!  Pilgrim Puppets!!

Hehe, mighty cute if I do say so myself!

Whoo hoo it's a Grey's night!  And Mario sooooooo got gipped last night! At least he got a hot girlfriend out of the deal! :)

See now you made me come out of lurkodome(if there is such a word!!) to say yes I do stalk/lurk in your blog.

And I must say, as always your desings, and of course your l/o's rock! (although I still miss you from SM) as always. And believe me, I have had the blue popsicle stick fiasco myself. I love the picture you took of your cutie.
